The Adventures of Captain Nemo
First begun as a comic book mini-series in the 1990s with writer Michael Vance and comics artist Rob Davis, this "prequel" to the books Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and Mysterious Island by Jules Vern chronicles the search for a long lost Atlantean power source that Indian sub-continental Prince Dakkar undertakes with a hand-picked, international motley crew of misfits. This Graphic Novel is created from scans of original art and the one issue published (most of the pages have never before seen print!) all from the aborted black and white series. The art has been lightly retouched with new lettering applied. Writer Michael Vance recently re-wrote the story in prose novel form published by Airship 27 Productions as Young Nemo and the Black Knights. This graphic novel is published to accompany the new novel and present the concept as originally conceived. We hope you enjoy the ride!

I.V. Frost Scientific Detective
Back in 1934, the publishing giant, Street & Smith found themselves frustrated on a monthly basis because their one dedicated mystery magazine, Clues, was forever being outsold by their competitor’s Black Mask. The boys at S & S did not like coming in second to anyone, after all they were the home of the pulp’s greatest crime fighters, The Shadow and Doc Savage. They desperately needed a new series that would attract more readers and turned to established writer, Donald Wandrei to fulfill that need.
Wandrei, a veteran pulp scribe, had been in successful in most fields, particular the weird horror genres and he set about inventing a truly unique, one-of-a-kind hero the likes of which no one had ever seen before, Prof. I.V. Frost.
Wandrei created the tall, thin, hatchet-faced “Ivy” Frost to be an American Sherlock Holmes; a brilliant scientific and analytical mind powered this eccentric character but he was also a man of action, capable of getting his hands dirty when the action heated up.
Like Holmes, Frost had an assistant but this one wasn’t some stodgy, ex-army doctor. Jean Moray was a sexy looking blonde who carried a .25 caliber derringer in her garter and possessed a genius I.Q. thus making her a fitting companion to the eccentric and colorful professor. Think Jean Harlow with a gun and that’s Miss Moray. During its run, Wandrei would pen eighteen Frost adventures.
The Redbud Studio comic is written by veteran comics scribe Ron Fortier (The Green Hornet, Terminator, Gene Roddenberry’s Lost Universe) and the art is by pro Gary Kato (Elfquest, Destroyer Duck, Mr.Jigsaw) with colors by Casey Beamis and edits by Rob Davis. The issue features two complete stories; The Runaway Robot and Speed Demons.
“Getting to write this amazing pulp character was a blast,” says Fortier. “He really is one of a kind and challenging to any writer. Wandrei was a genius in creating him.”
The one shot comic is now available from Indy Planet : (http://www.indyplanet.com/front/?product=112449)
The characters of I.V. Frost and Jean Moray are licensed and appear by permission from the Estate of Harold Hughesdon.

In this introductory story, Robyn and the remaining "Merry Men" take on King John and the latest man to hold the mantle of Sheriff of Notingham. Will the famed outlaw's daughter live up to the legend and triumph over King and Sheriff or will she and the aging outlaw band go down in defeat?
Robin Hood is dead! In the dark years since the death of Robin Hood, the former Prince John has proven himself one of the worst kings that England will ever know. Struggling under the burden of heavy taxes and royal whim, the people speak more and more of days past, when a brave yeoman rose from among them to stand against those who abused power and privilege. Furious that his enemy is remembered still, and fearful of what his example might inspire, King John orders a campaign to extinguish the memory of the Sherwood archer. The first step--to execute the surviving members of Robin's band! Now the only hope for the aging outlaws, and for England itself, lies in the shadows of Sherwood Forest, where Robin's legacy of rebellion is reborn in a startling new form... ...his daughter, Robyn!

The Boston Bombers are a group of high-flying agents working for the League of Nations, led by the fearless adventurer Indra Devine. The group includes ace pilot Violet "Rocky" Felicity and engineer/mechanic Copper Feladh. When one of Devine's oldest friends, scientist Gena Wilhem, becomes a pawn in a game of political intrigue between the League and Rome, South Africa, it's up to The Boston Bombers to unravel the mystery and save the day. The Boston Bombers is pulp writer Ron Fortier's most imaginative and original adventure to date. It is a magnificent stew of pulp, science fiction and socio-political speculation like nothing you've ever read before. Long out of print, it is collected here for the very first time. Start the props, buckle up and get ready to soar into action. It's time for... BOMBS AWAY!!
Imagine an Earth where battles are fought in the air by dirigibles; Where Jesus was a female and the Jews accepted her as the Messiah; Where the Roman Empire has survived into modern times; Where the second World War never happened and the Leagues of Nations grew into a world power. This is the world of The Boston Bombers!

Writer Jim Beard: “MONSTROSITIES is a work-in-progress. “The book began as an idea for a Universal Monsters comic book pitch that I had assembled with a fellow writer, but one I set aside when he moved on to other projects. After I realized that Universal seemed dead set on re-imagining their classic creatures in new films and that my ode to their old black-and-white classic films wasn’t likely to be something they’d be interested in, I decided to take my basic story and make it all my own. “MONSTROSITIES was born. 'It’s alive!' you might even say.”
In this introductory issue readers meet Jim Beard's versions of Dracula, The Frankenstein Monster and the Last Werewolf.
